Terms and Conditions

All cancellations must be made in writing to info@enchantedcanberra.com.au
  1. If you cancel your booking, 10 days prior to your scheduled event, we will refund your booking costs, minus any booking fees charged by the third party
  2. If you cancel your booking within 9 days of your event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the appearance fee will be charged.
  3. Enchanted Canberra (EC) does not accept liability for any property damage, or loss or personal injury howsoever caused. Including negligence by our guests, other children and adults, including visitors and staff.
  4. You accordingly agree to release and indemnify EC from all claims for property damage or loss or personal injury.
  5. Cancellation due to inclement weather is not permitted. Our performers do not work outside in wet weather, alternative arrangements must be put in place by the client. It is advisable to prepare for all weather conditions, as events will not be refunded if postponed due to inclement weather
  6. Performers will only operate in clean dry areas. No soggy grass, dirt, wet areas, or anything EC deems inappropriate to operate an event
  7. If the Performer is running late due to circumstances beyond their control (closed roads/ hazardous weather, e.t.c), the performer will stay longer and fulfil the complete package time.
  8. Animals (with the exception of Service Dogs) are NOT permitted at event venue, or client’s home where an EC performer is present. Household pets have to securely be kept away for the duration of the event.
  9. A responsible parent/guardian must be present for the duration of the event. This person(s) is fully responsible for the safety and well-being of the children and other guests.
  10. We ask that guests are fed prior to the performer’s arrival, in an attempt to keep food/drink away from the performer’s costumes.
  11. The performers do not require food, but will have their own water.
  12. Any inappropriate behaviour towards EC staff will not be tolerated. EC staff will leave the event if they are feeling uncomfortable or unsafe at any stage throughout the event
  13. Please ensure parking is available close to the venue. If pay parking is required, this will be added onto your package price, or paid by the client prior to the departure of the performer
  14. Please note that our performers are on a strict schedule, as often there are multiple events booked on the same day. Time permitting- your performer may stay for extra time if required. This will be charged at $90.00 per half hour for princesses and $100.00 per half hour for superheroes.
  15. All third-party bookings made by EC for your event, will have their own T&C’s and charges which are separate to EC Terms & Conditions. EC take no responsibility for deposits and/or cancellations penalties should a client’s event situation change.
  16. A 10% surcharge will be added for events on a public holiday or long weekend
  17. Access to a PowerPoint is essential for dock/stereo to play music
  18. In the rare event that the performer does not attend your event, EC will issue a full refund
  19. Your child may be photographed/videoed whilst participating in an EC event/party. Such media may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to reproduction on the EC social media platform and website
  20. Please note- In our experience, children are very unpredictable. Although we have specific activities and timelines, sometimes things are adjusted to suit the children and their desires. We also cannot/ and will not force children to participate in activities.
